Punishment

Punishment is a Australian television soap opera. Place at a fictional men's prison, so the series attempted to exhibit a version of the prosperous soap Prisoner. Attempts by the show's makers to differentiate the series watched Punishment. However, good figures were not attracted by the formula. Network Ten deemed and it had been immediately removed from the schedules. The remaining of these 26 episodes produced were shown. Unusually for a soap opera, the series had been recorded using precisely the same camera technique. The regular throw featured several Australian celebrities such as Barry Crocker, Brian Wenzel, Michael Preston, Ross Thompson, Anne Haddy, George Spartels, Cornelia Frances, Lisa Peers and Julie McGregor. Mel Gibson played with a captive from the first episode. Kris McQuade played with the girlfriend of Gibson's personality and was phased from the series after the initial few episodes due to Gibson's passing. Alan Coleman produced and directed the plan.
