The Chessplayer

In 1934 Diego Padilla wins the Spanish Championship of Both Chess and Matches Marianne Latour, a French journalist, plus they fall in love. At the ending of the Civil War, Marianne convinces Diego to live using their daughter in France, at which after Diego will soon be accused of spying by the Nazis and imprisoned at a SS prison. In prison, Diego will decide to take to to live because of Colonel Maier's passion for boxing in a hostile environment.
