Enigma
When the transport ship Genesis stopped working and just floated around in space, it became an unsolvable mystery. All hands on board have been killed. What started out as a simple transport mission for the crew of the Genesis ends with bloodshed and the loss of an important military prisoner. The people of Earth are in a time of trouble. They are fighting a war against an alien race called the Cnidarians, who are much stronger than them. After a bloody attack on the military ship Vendetta, USSM special forces were able to capture their first Cnidarian prisoner, whose code name was 71099. But everyone in the fleet knows it as Ediolon, the Phantom. Realizing that a military transport would be too easy for their enemy to find, the USSM asked Nathaniel J. Rhys, who was in charge of the freelance ship Genesis, to sneak the prisoner to the high security prison on Mars' moon Demos. The ship never came.
