Paulie
A smart parrot who talks, paulie, joins the story of his battle into your Russian immigrant who works as a janitor at the research institute where he failed and could be housed. Paulie's narrative begins several years earlier in the day if he could be awarded as a gift. Finally , he teaches the girl to speak properly but is removed by her father because he believes the girl can't distinguish dream from reality because she believes the bird can talk.
