Gloomy Sunday
Budapest at the thirties. The restaurant owner Laszlo hires the pianist András to play with in his restaurant. Both men fall in love with the beautiful waitress Ilona who arouses András into his sole composition. His song of Gloomy Sunday is also, in the beginning, adored and then emphasized, because of its melody triggers a string of suicides . The fragile balance of this sensual ménage à trois is sent off kilter when the German Hans falls deeply in love with Ilona well and moves.
