The Joe Schmo Show, the series's first season, aired in 2003, and Joe Schmo 2, its second season, aired in 2004. The hoax of the season was ran as the hoax proved to be a as a reality contest series. On December 10, 2012,'' Spike announced it was attracting The Joe Schmo Show straight back for a third season, which was released on January 8, 2013. The only constant presence in every three Joe Schmo seasons was voice actor Ralph Garman, who's served as the"emcee" for all three editions.
