Diary of a Chambermaid
France, Approximately 1900. Originating from the vibrancy of Paris, pert Célestine is procured like a chambermaid in Normandy. In the villa of the Lanlaire she encounters that with the lecherous man of the house and his unkind, asexual and jealous wife. Célestine is decided in order to avoid the fate suffered by the cook Marianne who has secretly murdered and one child despairingly realises she is pregnant . The lively maid is interested by what the mysterious man servant Joseph is as much as: he spreads anti-Semitic leaflets and suggests that she may get the job done with him like a prostitute in Cherbourg...
