The story is about a new girl, Kaya (Udita Goswami), living in the beautifully composed valley of Spiti, waiting to join a Buddhist monastery, an idea which was fed for her all her life with her father (Mohan Agashe) and one which she hasn't ever contested. When Lama Norbu has a fantasy that the Rinpoche, the Buddhist teacher was reborn as a new child, he sends Kaya into Delhi on a mission.
