Frankie and Johnny
He quickly lands a job at a New York diner as a short-order cook when Johnny is discharged from prison after a forgery charge. After a brief fling with waitress Cora, Frankie develops an attraction for the friend and fellow waitress Frankie of Cora. While Johnny's charms are resisted by Frankie initially, she relents when her very best friend persuades her to give Johnny a opportunity.
