The Salt of the Earth
The photographer Sebastião Salgado has been travelling in the footsteps of an ever changing humanity, throughout the continents. He has witnessed the major events of our history. International conflicts, starvations and exodus... He's currently embarking on the discovery of pristine lands, of those wild fauna and flora, of grandiose arenas: a massive photographic project which is really a tribute to our planet's beauty. Sebastião's the work and life of Salgado are disclosed to us by his sonJuliano, who travelled together with him throughout his journeys, and also a photographer, from Wim Wenders himself.
