Sledgehammer! Is an American satirical police sitcom created by New World Television that conducted in 1986 to 1988 for 2 seasons on ABC. The series was made by Alan Spencer and celebrities David Rasche as Inspector Sledge Hammer, a ridiculous caricature of the conventional"cop on the edge" personality. Al Jean and Mike Reiss, best known for their work in The Simpsons, composed for the show and worked as narrative editors.
